Its clear that you don't understand what unix is. Every OS system today is based on unix's paradigms. MacOs it self contains these paradigms and of course...it has unix(BSD) kernel.

Actually c# is a language designed by microsoft and it doesn't work on unix because it either runs on a windows-only virtual machine or compiles to win32 executables.

Unix was only utilized by companyies.Only sun supports unix with open solaris.Apple doesn't support unix in any way.SCO tried to make fast money with the unix rights.UNIX is the OS victim number one.But you are right. Many ideas in UNIX are great. They are switched to freeBSD, Linux, opensolaris, OS X ...
